Experience a one-day painting workshop where we’ll explore the fundamentals of oil painting: a session designed to help you lose the fear of both this ancient medium and the blank canvas.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance tailored to your own pace in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

The workshop
What’s Included:
All art supplies. Oil paints, brushes, mediums, and canvases are included. You don't need to bring a thing. Just wear clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on!
Small Group Setting. Places are limited to 10 participants so we can offer one-on-one guidance every step of the way.
Refreshments. Tea, coffee, and light snacks are provided throughout the day.
What to expect:
Introduction. An overview of materials, palette setup, and essential principles like surface preparation, fat-over-lean, colour mixing, and blending.
Warm-up Painting. A quick, low-pressure exercise to get comfortable with brushwork and colour mixing, find your flow and and lose the fear of the blank canvas.
Break. A moment to step back, recharge, and chat over a cup of tea.
Main Artwork. Guided creation of a painting where you'll apply everything you've learned, inspired by a different theme in each workshop.
Wrap-Up. You'll leave with two completed paintings, practical knowledge, and the confidence to continue painting.
